Hot Weather Expected This Weekend
The Meteorological Department at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expects tomorrow’s weather to be partly cloudy to cloudy, with no significant change in temperatures along the coast and rising temperatures inland and in mountainous areas. Humidity levels will increase in the evening, intensifying the feeling of heat, while dense fog will form over mid-altitude areas.
The bulletin stated:
General Conditions: A summer weather pattern is affecting Lebanon, with temperatures below seasonal averages until Saturday. The region will then be affected by hot air masses, leading to a rise in temperatures above seasonal averages, especially over mountains and inland areas. Humidity will also increase along the coast, making the heat feel more intense.
Average July temperatures:
Tripoli: 31°C to 23°C
Beirut: 32°C to 24°C
Zahle: 34°C to 18°C
A warning was issued about high waves (up to 1.5 meters), especially along northern shores.
Expected weather in Lebanon:
Thursday: Partly cloudy with fog over the mountains. No significant change in temperatures along the coast, while temperatures rise inland and in mountainous areas. Winds may become active at times.
Friday: Slightly cloudy to partly cloudy, with no significant change in temperatures along the coast and a rise inland and over mountains. Humidity will increase in the evening, intensifying the feeling of heat, with dense fog forming over mid-altitude areas.
Saturday: Slightly cloudy to partly cloudy, with fog over mountains and rising temperatures at higher elevations and inland, exceeding seasonal averages. Temperatures will slightly decrease along the coast, while humidity levels rise, increasing the feeling of heat.
Sunday: Slightly cloudy with fog over mountains and a further rise in temperatures over mountains and inland areas, while temperatures remain unchanged along the coast. Humidity will remain high, with active winds in southern Lebanon.
Temperatures: 22–30°C along the coast, 13–27°C in the mountains, and 14–34°C inland

Visibility: Moderate along the coast, worsening over mountains due to dense fog
