Salam hails Lebanon-Syria joint committee agreement
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam said the agreement establishing the Lebanese-Syrian Joint Higher Committee, signed with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani, aims to strengthen bilateral relations through state-to-state cooperation.
In a post on X, Salam said the agreement is based on the principles of mutual respect for sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, non-interference in internal affairs and good neighborly relations, adding: Congratulations to our two brotherly peoples.
