Berri broaches latest developments with Bou Saab
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received at the second presidency headquarters in Ain el-Tineh, Deputy Speaker Elias Bou Saab, with whom he discussed the general situation, the latest political developments, and legislative affairs.
On emerging, Bou Saab said that he discussed with Speaker during today’s meeting several topics, starting with the security situation and the repeated attacks in the south and across Lebanese territories, as well as the so-called ceasefire negotiation track.
Speaker Berri also received the Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Karim Souaid, with whom he discussed with the general situation, particularly the financial one.
Berri later received Lebanon’s Army Commander Rodolphe Haykal with whom he discussed the latest political and field developments in light of Israel's continued aggression against Lebanon. The discussion also touched on the situation of the military institution.
