Qatar condemns attack on UNIFIL in southern Lebanon
Qatar has released a statement condemning a recent Israeli attack that targeted a UNIFIL post in southern Lebanon that resulted in the death of a Serbian soldier and injuries to two from El Salvador and Spain.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates Qatar’s complete rejection of any attack targeting UNIFIL, which plays a vital role in maintaining security and stability in Lebanon,” it said. “The Ministry stresses the need for an immediate investigation into the attack and for those responsible to be brought to justice.”
