Bou Saab from Ain El-Tineh: Efforts ongoing to finalize balanced Beirut electoral list
Deputy Parliament Speaker Elias Bou Saab revealed following the conclusion of a meeting of the Parliament Bureau, chaired by Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh, that there are attempts to reach an agreement among the parties on a full electoral list for Beirut that ensures parity, but nothing is guaranteed at the moment.
Bou Saab also stressed that municipal elections are ongoing and there will be no changes to the electoral law at the present time. He pointed out that the Parliament Bureau condemned Israel's ongoing aggression and called on the government to act swiftly to stop the violations.
