France hands Lebanon archival border maps to support Syria border demarcation
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Rajji received French Ambassador to Lebanon Hervé Magro, who delivered a set of historical documents and maps from the French archives related to the Lebanese-Syrian border.
The handover comes in response to an official Lebanese request and in fulfillment of a promise made by French President Emmanuel Macron to Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun during his recent visit to Paris. The documents are expected to aid Lebanon in its efforts to demarcate its land border with Syria.
