Minister of Public Works Fayez Rasamny welcomed the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Lebanon, Walid Al-Hadid, who congratulated him on his appointment and conveyed Jordan’s continued support for Lebanon’s security, stability, and prosperity.
The meeting served as an opportunity to discuss bilateral relations and explore ways to strengthen cooperation, particularly in areas relevant to the ministry’s work.
Minister Rasamny separately met with MPs Ali Fayyad and Amin Sherri from the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc. Discussions focused on the latest domestic developments and regional infrastructure needs in the Marjayoun and Hasbaya districts, particularly road maintenance.
At noon, Minister Rasamny welcomed head of the Hariri Foundation, Mrs. Bahia Hariri, to discuss various development files related to the city of Sidon.
Rasamny also held a meeting with MP Najat Aoun Saliba, accompanied by Rachad Rafeh and Chukri Haddad, and welcomed MP Jamil Abboud.
In a separate meeting, Minister Rasamny met with Captain Ihab Azmy, Director of the National Air Navigation Services Company of Egypt, along with a delegation.
Talks focused on ways to support Lebanon by deploying Egyptian air traffic controllers to address the staffing shortage at Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport.
