UAE To Open E-Visa Center In Lebanon Next Month
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that an e-visa center will open in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, next month, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Undersecretary Omar Obaid Al Shamsi said the center’s opening comes as part of efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries and their peoples, describing it as an important step toward expanding bilateral cooperation.
He explained that the center will allow applicants in Lebanon to complete visa application procedures from within the country, helping streamline the process and speed up procedures in line with the regulations and requirements of the relevant authorities.
The opening of the center reflects the UAE’s experience in adopting innovative digital solutions, helping simplify procedures, improve service efficiency and provide customers with a more convenient and flexible experience both inside and outside the country, in line with the UAE’s digital transformation agenda, he said.
