Touch Expands Field Tour
Touch Chairman and General Manager Karim Salim Salam and members of the company’s board are continuing the second leg of an extensive field tour across North Lebanon and Akkar, the company said in a statement.
The tour aims to assess the network’s performance and local needs, while exploring ways to improve mobile and internet services, particularly 4G coverage, and designate selected sites for 5G deployment.
Touch said the initiative forms part of efforts to advance digital infrastructure across Lebanon in line with the vision of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and Telecommunications Minister Charles Hage.
The company will also discuss the development and economic priorities of individual towns and strengthen cooperation with local authorities.
The tour includes meetings with the Koura Municipalities Union and mayors from Dinnieh, Minieh, Halba and Qobayat.
