Head of Lebanon’s Land Transport Unions Bassam Tleiss called on the government to immediately begin implementing previously agreed measures after the price of a 20-liter can of gasoline reached $31.32.
In a statement, Tleiss also urged authorities to pay compensation owed to drivers before Wednesday, warning against any further delay.
