Berri broaches general situation with Ain El-Tineh visitors
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received Prosecutor General for Cassation Judge Ahmad Rami Al Hajj, at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh.
The discussion touched on the general situation, especially the judicial one.
Speaker Berri also received National Social Security Fund Board Chairman, Beshara Al-Asmar, and members of the Fund’s newly appointed board, who came on a protocol visit following their assumption of their new duties.
The visit also provided an opportunity to brief Speaker Berri on new Board’s work program for the current phase.
Berri also received President of the Council for the South, Hashem Haidar, with a delegation from the council.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the general situation, as well as the activities and work programs of the Council for the South aimed at addressing the repercussions of the Israeli aggression at various levels and supporting relief efforts for displaced residents.
