Menassa, Serbian PM discuss bilateral ties
National Defense Minister Major General Michel Menassa met Serbian Prime Minister Đuro Macut in Belgrade during his visit to represent President Joseph Aoun at events marking the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Non-Aligned Movement.
The meeting, attended by Lebanon’s Ambassador to Serbia Youssef Jabr, focused on Lebanese-Serbian relations and ways to develop cooperation across various fields.
Discussions also addressed possible arrangements following the end of the current mandate of international forces operating in southern Lebanon at the close of the year, as well as Lebanon’s broader situation, particularly developments in the South.
