Saudi Ambassador reaffirms Kingdom’s support during visit to Patriarch Rahi
Maronite Patriarch Cardinal, Bechara Boutros Rahi, received Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Dosari at the Maronite Patriarchate’s summer residence in Diman during a protocol visit.
During the meeting, Al-Dosari conveyed the greetings of the Kingdom’s leadership and highlighted the deep historical ties between Saudi Arabia and the Maronite Patriarchate.
The ambassador reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s continued support for Lebanon and its commitment to standing by the country across all sectors. He also stressed that the Kingdom maintains an equal distance from all Lebanese parties.
For his part, Patriarch Rahi expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia’s leadership and people for their sustained support for Lebanon, particularly in the fields of development, the economy, agriculture and the marketing of Lebanese agricultural products.
Rahi said Saudi support helps restore hope to Lebanese farmers and producers while strengthening agricultural production and economic activity, underscoring the importance of continued cooperation between the two countries.
