President of the Lebanese Republic, General Joseph Aoun, received a delegation from the Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership (LARP), with whom he discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as the role of the Lebanese community in the United States of America in supporting Lebanon during the next phase.
The delegation members affirmed their full support for President Aoun and for the path he is leading to consolidate stability and strengthen the authority of the state.
The delegation presented two initiatives it is working on to support Lebanon. The first involves preparations for holding a high-level economic roundtable in Washington, bringing together U.S. government officials, business leaders, and investors to explore ways to rebuild the Lebanese economy and strengthen the strategic partnership between Lebanon and the United States of America.
The second is the Cedars Challenge initiative, a youth training program for members of the Lebanese diaspora, organized by the organization in cooperation with the Lebanese Army, with the aim of strengthening their ties to Lebanon and its national institutions.
