Berri congratulated the newly elected Speaker of Syrian People’s Assembly
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri called the Speaker of the Syrian People's Assembly, Dr. Abdul Hamid Akil Al-Awak, congratulating him on his election as Speaker of the People's Assembly.
In his call, Speaker Berri extended, in the name of the Lebanese Parliament, warmest congratulations to al-Awak on his election, wishing him success in carrying out his legislative duties, and for Syria further security, progress, and stability.
