Aoun: Some in the United States Do Not Wish Lebanon Well
President Joseph Aoun thanked the US Task Force for Lebanon for standing by Lebanon, calling on the group to continue its support in the face of those in the United States that do not wish the country well.
He also warned that Israel's continued insistence on remaining in Lebanese territory would not serve the objectives that the United States and Lebanon have set for restoring the state's sovereignty and independence.
