Clashes in Bint Jbeil… What did the Israeli army announce?
Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said: “Paratrooper Brigade forces today detected and targeted six militants belonging to Hezbollah who were operating in Bint Jbeil, south of the forward defense line in southern Lebanon.”
He added: “Upon spotting them, firefights erupted, during which the forces eliminated three individuals by gunfire. Afterwards, the forces targeted the building from which they were operating, and during the airstrike, three more were eliminated. There were no casualties among our forces.”
He continued: “This constitutes yet another blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement by Hezbollah. The army will continue to operate to remove threats to the citizens of the State of Israel in the forward defense line area.”
