President Aoun has returned to Beirut
President Joseph Aoun returned to Beirut after participating in the informal meeting of heads of state and government of the European Union, in the presence of leaders of southern neighborhood countries, which was convened by Cyprus as part of its EU presidency.
He delivered Lebanon’s speech at the meeting, held a series of meetings with several European and Arab leaders, and received EU support for the decisions and steps he is taking to end the war, help Lebanon overcome its difficult situation, and strengthen rapprochement with the European continent at various levels.
