U.S. Delivers Strong and Decisive Messages to Lebanon
White House sources told MTV that there are no open U.S. negotiation channels regarding Hezbollah and that Washington has no knowledge of any proposals being circulated by France.
The sources added that the one-year deadline given to the Lebanese state has expired, arguing that Lebanon has neither achieved nor will be able to fully enforce its sovereignty, which, according to them, leaves Israel free to address the issue of Hezbollah.
