The Internal Security Forces (ISF) have arrested four women in separate operations in the Jbeil and Keserwan districts on suspicion of soliciting clients for prostitution.
In a statement, the ISF said officers from the Anti-Human Trafficking and Morals Protection Bureau arrested three women on the Amchit-Jbeil highway on October 31, 2026. The suspects, identified by their initials as K.H. and A.A., both stateless, and F.A., a Lebanese national, were allegedly standing along the road to solicit clients for prostitution.
In a separate operation in the Maameltein area along the coastal road, a patrol from the same bureau arrested H.M., a Syrian national, on the same charge.
The four women admitted to the allegations during questioning and were referred to the competent judicial authorities in accordance with their instructions.
