Geagea calls for facilitation to ensure successful apple season
Lebanese Forces Party leader Samir Geagea called on the Minister of Agriculture to provide all necessary facilities to ensure the marketing and export of the current Lebanese apple season.
In a post on the X platform, Geagea praised the government for reopening Arab markets, particularly Gulf countries, to Lebanese agricultural products, with a focus at present on Lebanese apples.
He said Lebanese apples remain a staple on dining tables despite advances in the agricultural sector worldwide, and called on the Agriculture Ministry to build on the government’s efforts by providing the necessary support to facilitate the sale and distribution of this year’s crop.
