What MTV’s Website Uncovered About the Achrafieh Drug Network’s Leader
According to MTV website's sources, Lebanese authorities have identified the Belgian national who was running the drug trafficking network dismantled in the Achrafieh area. The Prosecutor General’s Office is expected to contact Belgian judicial authorities to request his arrest.
The sources added that investigations revealed the network’s leader had visited Lebanon several times and had been overseeing operations inside the apartments raided by security forces. He is a Palestinian refugee holding Belgian citizenship and communicated with members of the network in Arabic.
