Civil Defense: 47 Citizens Evacuated; 16 Fatalities and 12 Injured Transported in Nabatieh
The Media and Public Relations Department of the Lebanese Civil Defense General Directorate issued the following statement:
Since early this morning, personnel from various centers within the Nabatieh Regional District of the Lebanese Civil Defense have been carrying out evacuation, transport, and medical rescue operations in response to the ongoing attacks targeting the area.
The personnel evacuated 47 citizens to safe areas and transported 16 fatalities and 12 wounded to hospitals.
Civil Defense personnel continue to carry out their humanitarian and relief missions in response to citizens’ calls for help, despite the difficult conditions and challenges on the ground.”
