Aoun tasks envoy to boost Liberia ties, reviews impact of escalation
President Joseph Aoun received Lebanon’s ambassador to Liberia Bashir Sarkis ahead of his posting to Monrovia, urging him to strengthen bilateral relations and attend to the needs of the Lebanese community.
In a separate meeting, Aoun discussed with MP Michel Daher the country’s general situation, focusing on the adverse economic, industrial, financial and agricultural impact of the ongoing military escalation.
