After Videos and Images of Insults, Hezbollah Urges Supporters to Be Vigilant
The Media Relations Department of Hezbollah issued the following statement:
In recent days, videos have been circulated by the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (LBC) that go beyond the limits of political disagreement and include in an offensive manner cheap insults that degrade political expression to a repulsive level and turn it into a deliberate tool for inciting the street and stirring tension within society with the aim of provoking reactions that mirror the same provocative act in an attempt to spark an uncontrollable sectarian strife among Lebanese.
We call on the supporters of the resistance to be aware of the danger of what is being plotted against all Lebanese and urge them to rise above being drawn into what the enemies of the resistance and thus the enemies of Lebanon are deliberately planning. This is in line with our morals and values as expressed by Imam Ali Commander of the Faithful peace be upon him when he told his followers that he dislikes them being abusive or insulting.
