The Israeli army spokesperson wrote on X:
“Approximately 50 airstrikes over the past 24 hours: The Israel Defense Forces continue to target militant infrastructure and neutralize operatives in southern Lebanon.
Yesterday (Friday), the IDF carried out airstrikes on targets in southern Lebanon, eliminating operatives who were active near IDF troops. Around 50 sites linked to Hezbollah were destroyed across multiple areas. These included command centers used to coordinate operations, buildings serving military purposes, and other infrastructure.
The targeted facilities were being used by Hezbollah operatives to advance attacks against IDF forces and the State of Israel.
In a separate incident, Hezbollah fired several projectiles toward IDF troops operating in southern Lebanon. The projectiles landed in open areas within the region.
In line with policy, no warning sirens were activated.
The IDF says it will continue operations against threats to Israeli civilians and its forces, in accordance with directives from the political leadership.”
