The Islamic Group denies reports of any of its offices or members being targeted
The Islamic Group in Lebanon expressed surprise, in a statement, at “how some media outlets rushed to announce that an administrative office of theirs was targeted in the airstrike on the Aisha Bakkar area in Beirut and that several of their members were killed, without verifying the information.”
The statement added: “We in the Islamic Group first condemn the repeated Zionist targeting of Lebanese territory and deny that any of our offices or members were targeted. We call on media outlets to exercise accuracy, professionalism, and responsibility in publishing and sharing news.”
