Israel to Dahiyeh Residents: Evacuate Homes Immediately
The Israeli army issued an urgent warning to residents of Beirut’s southern suburbs (Dahiyeh), specifically to those who have not yet left the area.
Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee wrote on X: We again urge you: save your lives and evacuate your homes immediately. Hezbollah’s activities in the southern suburbs are forcing the army to act strongly against them. We do not intend to harm you. For your safety and security, you must evacuate immediately.
He added: Warning: we again emphasize the need to evacuate your homes according to the instructions we recently issued. Failure to comply with the warnings and remaining in the area may endanger your life and the lives of your families. We will inform you when it is safe to return to your homes.
