Souaid: Racism has no place in any monotheistic faith
Former MP and head of the Saydet el Jabal gathering Fares Souaid wrote on platform X:
I heard racist remarks against Jews as a religion, despite maintaining my political disagreement with Israel, which still occupies the five points. Because the speaker was a religious figure, because the aim of the conference was to affirm that Lebanon is a land of interfaith dialogue, because the Apostolic Nuncio was present, and because there is no place for racism against any monotheistic religion, I left the hall.
