President Aoun, Iraqi PM affirm in phone call strength of Lebanese-Iraqi relations
During a phone call held Thursday afternoon, President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, and Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, emphasized the strength of the fraternal Lebanese-Iraqi relations, which have remained solid and deeply-rooted over the years, based on mutual respect for the sovereignty of both countries.
President Aoun and the Iraqi Prime Minister affirmed their mutual desire to strengthen and develop these ties across all areas, away from anything that could undermine their depth.
