Raggi receives UAE invitation to attend Abu Dhabi Conference on water
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raggi, on Monday received in his office at the ministry, UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, Fahad Al Kaabi, who handed him an official invitation from UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to participate in a conference scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi from December 8 to 10, under the title Every Future Springs from Water.
During the meeting, Minister Raggi and Ambassador Al Kaabi discussed the situation in Lebanon and the wider region in light of the latest developments.
Minister Raggi also received the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative in Lebanon, Alessandro Mrakic, who presented him with a copy of his credentials.
Minister Raggi wished the newly appointed representative success in his duties, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation between Lebanon and the international organization to help the country overcome this difficult period.
