Trump to Netanyahu: Withdraw from Lebanon
Axios reported that US President Donald Trump asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to withdraw Israeli forces from Syria and Lebanon.
According to the report, Netanyahu told Trump that Israel needs border security zones.
Axios added that the Trump administration concluded Netanyahu was unwilling to make the concessions it had sought in Syria and Lebanon.
On the Lebanese-Israeli negotiations, the report said Israel committed in Rome to withdrawing from the two pilot areas.
