Qatar Emir receives Lebanon’s Grand Mufti for condolence visit
Qatari Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, received Lebanon’s Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian, at Lusail Palace in Doha, where the latter offered condolences on the passing of the Emir’s father, the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
During his visit, Derian also met Qatari Minister of Endowments Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem to convey his condolences.
The Grand Mufti thanked Qatar’s leadership, government and people for their continued support for Lebanon and its state institutions.
