President Aoun arrives in Doha to offer condolences
President of the Republic Joseph Aoun condemned the repeated attacks targeting Gulf states, most recently the attack on Saudi Arabia, as well as the targeting of Jordan.
Aoun described the attacks as coordinated attempts to undermine the security and sovereignty of the affected countries and to keep the region in a state of instability and tension.
He reaffirmed Lebanon’s full solidarity, officially and popularly, with Saudi Arabia, all Gulf states, and Jordan, stressing that their security and stability are an integral part of Arab national security and that any attack on their sovereignty also affects Lebanon and the broader Arab world.
The president concluded by praying for the continued security, stability and prosperity of Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states and Jordan.
