Beirut Port director discusses anti-corruption measures with presidential advisor
Chairman and Director General of the Port of Beirut, Marwan Al-Naffi, on Tuesday met with Advocate Raymond El Helou, Presidential Advisor for Anti-Corruption, and Lt. Col. Joseph El Nadaf of State Security. The meeting focused on reinforcing internal oversight, transparency, and accountability within the port’s administration.
El Helou commended the collaborative efforts between port management and State Security, which have led to significant achievements in safeguarding public funds. Both officials emphasized that strict legal enforcement and continued coordination are essential to restoring institutional trust and maintaining the port's regional and international standing.
