Berri leads a series of meetings
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri met at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh, with David Hale, the former US Ambassador to Lebanon and current director of the Lebanon file at the Middle East Institute.
The pair held a tour d’horizon on the current situation in Lebanon and the broad region, in addition to political developments.
Speaker Berri also met with Major General Aroldo Lazaro, the Force Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
The discussion reportedly touched on the current field developments in south Lebanon, especially in UNIFIL’s area of operation.
Berri later met with Minister of Telecommunications Charles Hajj, where they discussed the general situation and matters related to the telecommunications sector.
