PM Nawaf Salam chairs meeting attended by World Bank delegation
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam afternoon chaired a meeting at the Grand Serail, attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitri, and the Ministers of Finance Yassin Jaber, Social Affairs Haneen El Sayed, Economy Amer Bisat, and State Minister for Administrative Development Affairs Fadi Makki.
The meeting was also attended by a delegation from the World Bank, headed by the WB’s Country Director for the Middle East Jean-Christophe Carret.
Following the meeting, Carret said, We discussed a document we submitted to the Prime Minister some time ago, which is a reform program for 14 sectors that we have been working on for years. The discussions were very important, and we will publish this program soon.
