Lebanon declares a three-day mourning period for Pope Francis
The Presidency of the Council of Ministers has declared a three-day mourning period for the death of Pope Francis, starting from today until Wednesday, April 23, 2025. During this period, flags at government institutions and agencies will be flown at half-mast, and regular programming on radio and television stations will be adjusted to reflect the solemn event. The same measures will be taken on the day of prayer for the repose of Pope Francis's soul.
