Photo: Aoun Visits Hospital to Check on Patriarch Rahi's Health
President Joseph Aoun visited Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros Rahi at Hôtel-Dieu Hospital to check on his health following surgery on his hip after he tripped and fell during the Easter Sunday Mass held yesterday at the Patriarchal Seat in Bkerke, which resulted in a hip fracture.
President Aoun was briefed on the patriarch’s condition following the successful surgery and wished him a speedy recovery.
Patriarch Rahi thanked the president for his visit.
