MP Atieh discusses depositors’ funds
MP Sajih Atieh described his meeting with President Joseph Aoun as positive, saying discussions focused on national developments and several pressing issues.
Speaking after the meeting, Atieh said President Aoun remained committed to national unity, civil peace, Lebanon’s neutrality and the restoration of full sovereignty.
We have great confidence in the presidential term and its approach to governance, Atieh said.
He added that discussions addressed the recovery of depositors’ funds, the need to accelerate work on René Mouawad Airport, matters concerning the Lebanese University and other issues affecting northern Lebanon.
