Berri discusses Lebanon, regional developments with Indian official
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received the Secretary for Consular, Passport, Visa and Overseas Indian Affairs (CPV & OIA) of India’s Ministry of External Affairs, Ambassador Sripriya Ranganathan, and her accompanying delegation, at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain El Tineh.
The meeting was attended by India’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Muhammad Noor Rahman Sheikh, and Speaker Berri’s media adviser, Ali Hamdan.
The discussion touched on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Berri also received former Deputy Speaker Elie Ferzli, with whom he discussed the general situation, the latest political and field developments, and national affairs.
