The Media and Public Relations Department of the Lebanese General Directorate of Civil Defense announced that search and rescue teams successfully evacuated and rescued 29 civilians trapped inside damaged buildings in both Doueir and Nabatieh, despite the danger posed by ongoing airstrikes and the extensive destruction.
Operations in Doueir led to the rescue of two children and 12 civilians, while 15 civilians were evacuated in Nabatieh. Civil Defense personnel acted swiftly and efficiently to ensure the safety of residents and transfer them to secure locations.
The statement added that Civil Defense teams continue to carry out search and emergency response operations at the targeted sites.
