Photos: Eid al-Adha prayer at Roumieh Prison
Eid al-Adha prayer and sermon were held at Roumieh Prison on the first day of the holiday, under the patronage of the Prisoners and Their Families Care Committee affiliated with Dar al-Fatwa in the Lebanese Republic.
The committee’s secretary and religious instructor in prisons, Sheikh Walid Zahra, emphasized the importance of adhering to obedience to God, noting the blessings and salvation it brings in both this life and the hereafter, drawing on the example of Prophet Ibrahim.
Afterwards, sweets were distributed to the inmates.
