Army chief discusses developments, ways to support army with EU Ambassador
Lebanon’s Army Commander, General Rodolph Haykal, received the European Union Ambassador to Lebanon, Sandra De Waele, with an accompanying delegation, at his Yarzeh office.
Discussions reportedly touched on developments in Lebanon and the region, and ways to support the army.
During the meeting, Ambassador De Waele stressed the European Union’s continued support for the military institution, praising the army’s pivotal role in ensuring security and stability in Lebanon.
The army chief, for his part, valued the European Union's support for Lebanon and the army, under the current circumstances.
