The Israeli army claimed that it “discovered a weapons cache belonging to Hezbollah operatives in southern Lebanon.”
Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee wrote on X: “During an operational activity by the 91st Division, the air force struck a Hezbollah military building over the weekend where Hezbollah activity had been observed. Yesterday, the forces swept the area around the building and found large quantities of combat materials, including dozens of rockets, explosives, and rifles.”
He added: “The Israeli army also struck and killed two Hezbollah operatives who were moving toward our forces.”
Adraee concluded: “The Israeli army will continue to act forcefully against Hezbollah, which has decided to join the battle under the sponsorship of the Iranian regime, and will not allow harm to Israeli citizens.”
