Morcos discusses bilateral media cooperation with Mexican Ambassador
Minister of Information Paul Morcos received the Ambassador of Mexico to Lebanon Francisco Romero at his office, accompanied by embassy translator Sanaa Haidar.
Following the meeting, Ambassador Romero stated that discussions focused on the upcoming celebration of Lebanese-Mexican diplomatic relations, which began in 1945. He noted that the Mexican government and its embassy will organize several commemorative events in the coming days.
Talks also explored avenues of cooperation between the Ministry and the embassy. Minister Morcos proposed initiatives to strengthen media ties, including providing archival and documentary content to Tele Liban.
The Ambassador affirmed his commitment to supporting the Ministry and the national broadcaster.
