Security meeting winds up at Baabda palace
The security meeting chaired by President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, concluded at the Baabda Presidential Palace.
The meeting reviewed the security situation in the country, particularly in south Lebanon, in light of the ongoing Israeli attacks that are hindering the Lebanese army's full deployment.
The attendees also discussed the measures taken to begin implementing the withdrawal of weapons from the Palestinian camps in Beirut, in accordance with the agreement reached during Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's recent visit to Beirut.
