Justice Minister Adel Nassar concluded an official visit to France, where he held high-level meetings focused on strengthening Lebanese-French judicial cooperation.
In talks with French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin, discussions centered on supporting Lebanon’s judicial reform, particularly enhancing the judiciary’s independence and modernizing its structure.
Darmanin affirmed France’s full readiness to assist through technical cooperation and specialized training.
Nassar also met with top judicial figures and officials, including Christophe Soulard and Rémy Heitz, addressing transparency, accountability, and institutional capacity-building.
The visit concluded with discussions on technical support and judicial training with Expertise France.
