Civil Defense recovers remains of 2 martyrs in Bint Jbeil
The Media and Public Relations Department of the Directorate General of Civil Defense issued the following statement:
In line with the directives of Minister of Interior Ahmad Hajar and under the supervision of acting Director General of Civil Defense, Brigadier General Nabil Farah, and as part of the humanitarian and national missions undertaken by the Directorate General of Civil Defense, specialized search and rescue teams succeeded in retrieving the remains of two martyrs in Bint Jbeil District. One set of remains was found in the town of Deir Siryan, and the other in the Salaa area — near the vicinity of Deir Siryan — following the latest Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
The recovered remains were transferred to Salah Ghandour General Hospital, where necessary lab tests, including DNA analysis, will be conducted to identify the martyrs in accordance with established procedures.
The Directorate General of Civil Defense reaffirms its commitment to continue field search and survey operations in affected areas with full dedication and responsibility, in order to determine the fate of all the missing.
