Photos: Woman Arrested in Drug Bust in Metn and Keserwan
The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement:
As part of ongoing efforts by the Internal Security Forces to pursue individuals involved in drug trafficking and distribution—and under the security plan implemented by the Judicial Police Unit to combat the drug epidemic and curb its spread—information was obtained by the Central Anti-Narcotics Bureau about the activities of:
K.T. (born in 2000, Lebanese) who was allegedly selling drugs and drug paraphernalia in the Metn and Keserwan areas.
Following close surveillance, a patrol from the bureau raided her residence in Awkar, arrested her, and seized a quantity of cannabis, tools used for drug consumption and storage, as well as a precision scale.
During her interrogation, she confessed to the charges.
The necessary legal procedures were taken against her, and the seized items were destroyed as per the directive of the competent judiciary.
